An IoT solution which tracks the racer real-time. Providing information such as racer’s condition (heat rate, power, crank cadence, position, speed etc…) in real time for the broadcasters. Manage tour information, display the racer’s position on the map in real time. The information is sent from an android app from the phone onto MS. Azure Cloud for processing, analyzing and persisting the desired info into the database with Azure HDInsight.
Goal of the project:
The objective of this project is to develop an IoT solution that tracks racers in real-time, providing detailed information such as heart rate, power output, cadence, position, and speed to broadcasters. This solution will also manage tour information and display the racer’s real-time location on a map. Data is collected from an Android app and transmitted to the Microsoft Azure Cloud for processing, analysis, and storage using Azure HDInsight, ensuring efficient and accurate tracking and reporting.
